Sendmarc can allow you to validate your DKIM records from inside of the platform
Sendmarc can tell you whether your DKIM records inside of Sendmarc is the valid delegated Sendmarc record.
When the validation runs, the platform checks that the record inside of DNS is the exact record that Sendmarc expects to see.
How to Validate a DKIM record
- Navigate to the domain you want to validate.
- Click the "EDIT" button
- Click on "DKIM SETTINGS"
- Click to expand "Your DNS Configuration"
- Click on the "VERIFY" button.
- The Sendmarc platform will begin the verification checks.
- The Sendmarc platform will return the result of the current validation status with the date and time that the last validation occurred.
Should validation fail, you will be presented with an error message stating the reason why validation has failed. This will guide you on where to start your troubleshooting process.
If you have just created a new domain and the validation is failing, please allow the full Time To Live(TTL) of the domain to lapse its configured time period and try validation again.
